Cameron at 17 months

This has been an interesting phase for Cameron. He is learning how and loves to be more independent likes brushing his teeth, helping out in the kitchen, and throwing his trash away. But he still has his upset moments when he can't understand why we are telling him no and can't let him do something he wants to do.

Here are some other things he loves to do:

• Just like always he loves to follow Leah around and play where she is or with what she has
• Dance- it's hilarious to watch him sway to the music and ask to listen to music
• Play outside especially on our neighbors' trampoline
• Smile and making silly faces
• Feed himself but spread the food all over himself and his tray
• Look at animals, feed the ducks at the park and make animal sounds
• Run around the house and be as busy as he can be
• Color with crayons or draw with sidewalk chalk outside
  

So here are some favorites of Cam's. He can be a little terror when he doesn't get his way, but he can also be a little sweetheart and generously gives hug and kisses. I can't believe next month he will be 18 months and officially be old enough for nursery. That will make it a little easier for us to enjoy church. Here are some of his nicknames: Cam-boy, Cam-cam, Bubba, buddy or Cammy. For the most part Leah and Cameron play well together but still occasionally fight over toys. He is getting a lot better at learning how to share.

Forming a new habit

I'm going to try now to post at least twice a week so I don't feel like I get behind. So here are some pictures from the past few weeks that I wanted to share (you may have already seen them on Facebook).

Celebrating Logan's birthday with his fam
I'm not going to try and put a caption next to each picture but I'll just tell you everyone that was there - Logan's brother Braden and his wife Haley and daughter Sophia, Logan's sis Kelcy and fiance Nathan, Logan's sis Jenna, and his mom. They all made funny faces because Leah took the pictures and asked them to make funny faces. It was a fun day!
