Leah is FINALLY crawling
We thought Leah would never learn to crawl because she didn't like to be on her stomach. But she is surprising us with her enjoyment on the floor. Since we moved here to Orem, she has developed in so many ways. She started two weeks ago going down on to her hands from sitting and holding herself up, which was a huge step. She would also roll over on to her stomach in her crib after her nap. And while she was playing on the floor I would push her knees up underneath her and help her move along. Then little by little she has learned to do it on her own. I first had to use my earrings, my phone or Cheerios to entice her to crawl but now she pretty much just goes when she wants something.
She does get tired of crawling and will want us to walk around with her. But she can now play more on her own and doesn't need me to be right by her. It's been so nice. We're so proud of her. Enjoy the videos!

YAY Leah! She is adorable. That is so fun that you have moved to Utah. We will have to come see you next time we visit there.

Also, you had asked about the binky. I was way afraid of taking it away as well as Adam ALWAYS had the binky. I think we just got lucky. We were planning on just giving it to him at naps and bedtime, so I did that one day. That same night I was gone and Nick couldn't find a binky so being the boy he is, he just put Adam down without it (something I was too afraid to ever think of trying). Adam fell asleep just fine without it! I couldn't believe it and said that we weren't giving it back and since then we never did. But again, I think we just got lucky, I really thought that he would be 4 and still be hooked on it. Good luck when you try with Leah! Hopefully it goes great too!
Adam got up in the full crawl postion yesterday, I almost cried. I want him to stay little forever. you better start baby proofing now, she will be into everything.
AHH! I love seeing Leah crawl! I'm glad you guys are doing well. How do you get the videos on your site?
