We are proud to show our new little addition to our friends and family. I was so glad to finally have him delivered after going through a week of Braxton-Hicks contractions. I was also feeling pretty miserable and uncomfortable being pregnant. And now I'm still feeling a little uncomfortable, but at least Cameron has joined our family.

Cameron had some meconium (poop that he let out inside the womb) in his lungs when he was born, so they had to really aspirate his nose and mouth when he was born. Then the hospital staff had to take him straight to the special care unit to make sure he was stabilized before we could hold him and before I could start feeding him.

So we were a little worried if he was going to be okay. But they soon brought him back into my room with great reports of his lungs, temperature and blood sugar. It was such a blessing! We are so lucky to have him in our family. He is such a joy to hold and look at. He is sleeping and eating well in the hospital (and we all hope that continues when we go home on Monday morning).

Leah has done really well also with my parents and Logan's sister Kelcy. She went to the Disney store with Nana and Papa and picked out a new "Beast girl," which translates to another Beauty and the Beast doll. She can't get enough of Belle. She also got new princess pajamas, a little Disney princess chair, and Logan's mother Carolyn sewed her a new princess quilt to go on her bed. She has been royally spoiled. She does miss her mommy a lot, but they got to bring her by the hospital after Cameron was born. I think she is still trying to figure out that Mom doesn't have a baby in her tummy anymore (even though I still look kind of pregnant). And I'm sure she will soon learn to love her little brother.
