New Haircut

I have been wanting to do something different with my hair for awhile but I never have enough courage to do anything drastic. So this is what I came up with. I settled for about four inches cut off my hair which makes it just sit on my shoulders.

It's been pretty easy to maintain so far. I can still pull it back in a pony tail and my bangs are almost grown out long enough to put behind my ears. Let me know what you think of it.

Around the House















Since the weather has turned colder, Leah and I have stayed inside more often this month. She continues to want to draw on our white board that has been on the floor since we rearranged our living room. "Draw girl, mommy! Draw girl, mommy!" is repeated over and over at our house.

We had to move our computer desk out of the baby's bedroom to make more room in there. And so we took the white board down and planned on moving it to another wall.

But Leah thinks it's her own board to draw on so we've kept it there because it will keep her busy. And sometimes I just need a little time to make dinner or clean up while she's drawing. She's getting to be pretty good now. She draws lots of circles and tries to draw faces with circles. She loves for me to draw the various Disney princesses and princes (especially Aladdin and Gaston).


She's also been getting the baby's crib warmed up for him. She loves to pull out his clothes, sit in the crib, and rock back and forth in the glider. She even wants to be rocked in the middle of the night. We're still having hard nights of sleep, but we're going to try to be a little firmer and let her do the crying thing. We'll see how it goes.
