Just a quick little update on Cameron (I've been meaning to do this for a while). He will turn 2 at the end of next month, and he has come such a long way from turning one. He is adding new words every day and repeating things that we say often. But the most frequent word he says is "Eat, eat, eat." He used to just say "No" when we asked him to say a word and to just about everything else we asked him to do. But now he's trying really hard to talk to us.
He is still ALL boy and loves to pretend any kind of stick or utensil is a sword or weapon. Just this week he has pretended he is a snake and will chase us and pretend to bite us. I found a Cat in the Hat Reptile book at the library, and he loves reading it before bed time. He says "big" and "small" to the picture with different sizes of lizards.

He loves to do whatever Leah is doing still, and he loves to play with our neighbor friends, Emma and Aiden. He even tries to say their names and their mom and dad's names.
I had to take him to see the doctor because of a rash on his face the other day, and he is now 31 pounds and super tall (I forgot how many inches tall). He can fit into 3T size shirts and pajamas now and he's not even two yet.

Cameron also loves to help in the kitchen. As soon as Logan goes into the kitchen to make pancakes, he pulls one of the kitchen chairs over and says "Help, help." So cute! And most of the time we try to be patience and let him help us. Here Logan made pumpkin pancakes with chocolate chips for breakfast, and he even made some pumpkin syrup to go with it. Yummmmmmm!

So yesterday I still needed to pick out some bigger pumpkins for Logan and I to carve. I took the kids to the Vineyard Garden Center. It's a fun place with a nice playground for the kids and some festive Halloween fun. But at first they didn't even want to leave the playground to pick out the pumpkins. They were having too much fun.
Cameron would climb the ladder all the way up to the twisty slide, go down head first and come out and say "More!" And then he would do it all over again.

Leah found a great stick to draw in the dirt. I wouldn't let her play with just her hands in the dirt so she was resourceful and found a stick. She was even drawing pictures. She said this was queen bee.

After a while of playing, I finally dragged them over to pick out pumpkins. Cameron kept picking the smaller pumpkins up and putting them in our wagon. I had to put many pumpkins back after he was "helping" me.

Here they are - Best buds:

They even indulged their mother's wishes to take some pictures in front of the inflatable characters.
