It's a ..............

BOY!!!!!!!

That's right! We just had our ultrasound today and confirmed that our second child is a boy. It's still exciting to think about having one of each. I thought it would be great to have another girl so I could reuse all the clothes I have for Leah, but I guess I'll just have to start over again. And then I'll have stuff for both when we have our third (but we're not even thinking about that now). We found out that the baby is healthy and right on track for our due date right around Thanksgiving (Nov. 28). I was so relieved to see this little miracle growing inside me. I'm feeling great and feeling more movement in my stomach.

Now we have to move on to figuring out some cute boy names. We have so many boys in my family that we'll have to look extra hard to find a good one. Let me know if you have any good ones you would like to share.

Oh my word, we really should set up a couple marriages for our little ones! Isaac was born on October 21st and that's our little baby girl's due date as well. So that makes Leah a month older than Isaac (around that?) and your little boy a month younger than our little girl--it'll be perfect:).

And orchestrating these marriages will be easier because... we're moving to Orem!!!!! Doug got into BYU law school for his last year of law school and we'll be renting in Orem for the next year. We can finally return the favor and have you over for dinner! I'm excited for you and I'm excited to play with you.

I see everyone is suggesting the same name for your boy. But I don't know; "Congratulations" is kind of long. I guess shortening it to "Congrats" works, as long as the kids in 2nd grade don't call him "Rats."

I don't have any names to leave with you, but I agree, Congrats is a strange name for a baby (but congrats indeed!). I think that you should stick with the traditional names. My mom forwarded me your blogspot, great to see your little one. Sorry, I missed you in March, but at least you got to see the best part of my life- Julie! Take care!

Yeah for boys! They are great. I'm no help in the naming department--after three I'm still trying to come up with a name for #4.

how about bralixy or xachoby. logan liked those names. remember, a marriage IS about compromise! congratuulations is kinda growing on me though (not that it's my decision) it'd be like the guy who had his name leagally changed to Ingod Wetrust! ('in god we trust' for those of you a little slower than the rest)

CONGRATS! How exciting to have a boy. I bet Leah will suddenly look so much older and like a big sister once he's here.

I miss seeing you guys in Evanston, but it sounds like everything is going well. I am engaged to the guy I was dating during grad school. We're planning a Jan. 3 Christmas wedding and our house hunting in St. Paul. Busy & exciting times!!!

As to boy names, here are a few I like: Andrew, Adam, Caleb, Tony.
