Leah has recently taken up drawing again after having a few months sabbatical. I think her infatuation with drawing started again when she drew a good picture in nursery last Sunday, and her teacher was so impressed with it. So we told her how much we liked it. I also bought some new dry erase markers for our white board after our other ones all dried out. She frequently forgets to put the lids back on when she is done.
She also found some thank-you notes of mine and wanted to "draw a gift for Nana" (my mom). She has seen me write notes to friends and family and decided that she likes to do it too. I also let her draw some more pictures for my dad since his birthday is coming up. She does a pretty good job of drawing faces inside an oval (which is the body) and arms and legs coming out of it. Drawing is a good activity to keep her busy while I'm feeding or changing Cameron. Check out the pics.

I LOVE Leah's drawings! I've been anxiously awaiting the day that Aiden decides to try more than just scribbling. I can't wait to see what his drawings look like. He does like painting. (but that's a big mess!) Isn't it funny how kids always draw the arms and legs coming out of their heads?! I love it. :)
PS- Aiden said he wants to play with Leah. If only Emma would get better! It's been 2 WEEKS! Where's that warm weather already?
