Starting Primary

I can't believe that I now have a child that's old enough to be a Sunbeam in Primary. I'm a little slow at posting about this since I forgot to take a picture the first Sunday of this month when she went to Primary for the first time. But here is this last Sunday just before church. The Sunbeams in our ward had to give the scripture, theme, talks, and say prayers which I thought was a little soon for them since they just started Primary. But I guess they have to get experience some how.

I was nervous about Leah giving the scripture since she is so shy in front of people. So I was talking about it with her all week trying to get her to practice but she didn't want to repeat it. She just kept saying the very last part. And that morning I was still working with her and she said "I'll just say in Primary". Well, when it was her turn to go up there, she just didn't want to say anything so I gave the scripture instead.

I think her shyness will eventually wear off when she gets used to Primary and being in front of people. I think I was the same way growing up. But for the most part, she enjoys Primary and loves to show us what she did in there.

I can't believe that she is growing up so fast and learning so many new things.

Leah is so stinking adorable! Ethan made his Primary debut this month also. As long as he's not doing laps around the room, I'm happy.

Oh that's so cute! I can't believe Adam is a sunbeam either!

Too cute! I'm so worried for when Adam has to give a talk, that kid won't talk on command for anyone, it should be interseting.

We had a new Sunbeam also :) I'm glad that he's not the only one. It's so fun when they make that big step from nursery to primary. She is adorable.

Nice to document her first! She's so cute. And don't you feel the time passing quickly?
