At this link you can read the article I wrote on my first day of back-breaking work at the downtown Northwestern newsroom. I got the assignment at 9 a.m. yesterday and here's what I turned out at 4 p.m. I get to do this kind of thing (with different stories, of course) Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday each week this quarter, and I have other classes on Mondays and Fridays. You probably won't be interested by the story so much as to know what I've been up to.
