On Saturday, it was cloudy and raining most of the day, and Logan was putting in long hours at school editing his project. Leah was taking her two-hour afternoon nap, and I could have taken the opportunity to pack at this time. But packing's not as fun as baking cookies. That excitement of licking the dough off the beaters, that aroma that fills your entire home, and the pride that comes when you have made a delicious treat was too much to pass up. I decided to make some chocolate chip cookies and bring them to Logan and his classmates. They were devoured after a couple of hours.
Then on Sunday the urge to make a delicious treat overcame me again. This time I made the chewy chocolate cookies from Logan's dad's recipe. I have made them in the past, and they usually turned out so tasty. This time I decided to add white chocolate chips instead of peanut butter ones, and we weren't disappointed. I don't have another cookie lined up for tomorrow, but I'm thinking of making oatmeal raisin cookies. And I will need to find other people to share them with so we don't eat them all and look like this.

Those look delicious. I'm also desperately trying to use up everything in my pantry that I forgot existed.
Only five bags of chocolate chips in your pantry? What a sin! You are so good to give them away, I often find myself eating most of the cookies, since the boys don't need that much sugar and I need a little pick me up.
So, when is the big move?
