Moving is not fun

Sorry I've been letting down my viewers lately. We just went through a tremendous move across the country back to the comfort of Utah Valley. After searching for a place to live all week, we found an apartment in the top half of a house in south Orem. We live just a block north of Logan's brother Braden and his wife Haley. So we will be going to church with them and will enlist their help for babysitting along with Logan's sister Kelcy while she's at BYU.

Moving is not fun, especially after doing it a year ago and picking one of the hottest days of the year. We did have a lot of helpers, and I just wanted to say thank you to all of them. But as everyone left and it was just the three of us surrounded by boxes, we just had to take a big sigh and say "We'll work on it later."

Leah has been adjusting pretty well throughout the whole ordeal, but she has her fussy times. I'm sure she knew something was going on when both grandparents came for graduation (Yea! Horray for Logan! No more school!) and we were frantically packing and cleaning. Now that we finally brought our own things back into an apartment and set up her room and crib, I thought she would be okay sleeping. But she woke up two hours later after I laid her down, and took awhile to go back to sleep.

Some day we get settled back into a routine but for now, she'll just have to adjust. And so will Logan and I. We have only a few more days before he starts his full-time job, so we need to get most of the house unpacked. I wish I could snap my fingers and it will all be put away.

Glad to hear you all made it OK! I hated this move out to Arizona, but I didn't have a house of furniture and a family. I have no idea how you did it twice in a year -- you guys must be real organizers.

Yay, you're back :) Where in Orem do you live?

(we want to come stalk you!)

isn't moving the pits! I really don't like it, and I am just moving accross town - not across the country!
I hope you are able to get lot's done before Logan heads off to work. It's hard packing and unpacking with a baby and one who is active on top of that!
Good Luck!! We missed seeing Logan leading the music on Sunday!
