Playing with mommy's make-up

Leah's new favorite activity is playing in my make-up bag. She'll spot it on the shelf in our bathroom and point to it like she wants it. Then she'll pull out the blush and eye shadow one by one to examine it. She usually likes the blush brush (try to say that three times quickly) and sticks it up to her nose to smell it like a flower. She will try to sneak it in her mouth if I'm not looking.

She's seen me do it enough that she knows that it goes on your face, but I'm just afraid that she'll get it all over the place so we usually play together so I can closely monitor. One day I wasn't paying attention and she got blush all over her face and the brush was all slobbery after she had it in her mouth.

When Logan came home from work yesterday, she saw it and wanted to play with it so I had to grab the camera. She is trying to apply eye shadow to Logan's eye in the first picture. I know she's a long way off from wearing make-up but it's scary to think that one day she'll want to wear make up to look cute and impress boys. I try not to think about it.

That's really cute and makes me kind of sad all at once. But mostly it's really, really cute!

OH what a little girl! I remember Marlee putting make-up on her Daddy too. How they have their Daddy's wrapped around their little finger!
I can not believe how big Leah is getting. It really feels like yesterday when we were sitting in the park at play group waiting for her to come. Miss you! And hope to see you in Feb when we come to Utah!!!
Give Leah a big hug from us!

She's a doll. :) Mine will be 16 months tomorrow and she likes to go to my cupboard, take out my handbags, walk around the house with one handbag around her neck and the other she drag it around with her. They are too cute at this age.
