I just witnessed a miracle...

Leah fell asleep on her own for her afternoon nap. I didn't have to tell her a story, sing a bunch of songs and say a prayer. She cried for a little bit and fell asleep. And I was so relieved. Here's the background story:

We had read books while she was going to bathroom, and she was getting settled in her bed.
I was turning off the light, and we were arguing because she wanted one more book.
Then Cameron was trying to climb up on to her bed like he always does, and she kicks him and he goes flying and lands on his back on the floor. I get mad at her and pick him up while he's crying, and I went to put him to bed because it was getting close to his nap time.

So she cried for a little while, and when I went back in to check, she was asleep
AND I was thrilled.

She just spent the night at Logan's mom's house and was pretty tired. We also went to a monthly Lunch Bunch with some ladies from church and got back around 1:30 p.m. So it was already late for both of them. Now I'm relaxing and trying to rest before they both wake up.

Amazing! I hope you had some good "me" time! If only that would always happen.

That IS a miracle!! Holy cow, I'm VERY happy for you! I hope you had a really wonderful afternoon. Mine consisted of Eli actually falling asleep for a nap (he hadn't done this in over a week) and Charlie NOT napping this afternoon, crying for about 45 minutes in his crib and then fussing for the rest of the day until I put him to bed at 6 p.m.

I'm hoping tomorrow's my day to have a miracle :) Way to go Leah!! Napping 3-year-olds are the best!

OK. So I guess what I need to do for you is have Marshall get Leah and the two of them jump on the trampoline for 1/2 hr or so, then swing a while and run around some more. :) HOoray for nap time!!
