Even though he's a rough and growling little toddler, he has his sweet moments where he loves to give hugs and kisses.
Lately he has really started to call out to us around the house. When one of us goes into the bathroom and shuts the door on him, he gets so sad and starts calling out our names. For a month now he has really started saying "mama" a lot more. He'll even calls out "mama" or "dada" in his crib when he wants us to come get him. He used to just say "dada" all the time because he loved it when Logan would come home from work. And now he is calling Leah "Ya-ya" which she loves to hear and refer to herself as "Ya-ya".
Today when it was time to get Leah up from her nap (it was a rare occasion that she did take a nap) he kept saying "ya-ya" and looking around for her. Then we opened Leah's room and he was saying it over and over, climbed on her bed, and laid down on her to give her a hug. It was so sweet.
It really melts my heart when my kids show love to each other because a lot of times they are fighting over toys.

I love the picture of them hugging the dolls! They really are adorable kids. It's crazy that Leah is so grown up. Isn't it almost mind boggling when your kids can be independent and you see that what you're trying to do as parents is actually working!
