Four months old

Today I took Cameron for his four-month check up, and the doctor confirmed what we already knew, "He's a big, big boy," just like Leah says.

He was measured and weighed, and here are his stats:
27.5 inches long - 99 percentile

16 pounds 11 ounces - 84.7 percentile

These are some of the things he likes to do now:

  • play on the floor, roll to both sides
  • play on his tummy (something Leah never liked to do)
  • grab for toys, his hands or whatever is in his reach and put them in his mouth
  • slobber and drool all over himself
  • watch Leah, mom, and dad eat dinner or play together
  • jabber on like he's having a conversation
  • smile really big especially when you give him attention
  • wake up several times at night to be fed by mom
He is on the brink of starting solid foods, and it makes me sad that he has grown so much so fast. It probably goes by much faster with the second child because the older child keeps you even busier.

I love how surprised Cameron always looks with his wide eyes. He's so cute.

He is a big big boy!! and SO cute! I am so impressed that he is in the 99th percentile for height. That is pretty cool.

I'm sorry you're still getting up a lot in the night to feed him though! I have a feeling I'll be doing the same in two months.
