Man, I felt like I just barely wrote about him turning six months old and here he is turning seven months. The time is flying by.
Cameron is definitely a mover. From the minute he wakes up he's trying to grab things - my hair, my earrings, whatever toys are around him on the floor, or whatever food we are eating at the table. And he is really close to crawling. He is starting an army crawl or shuffle as Logan calls it. Not only can he roll all over the place, but can now go forward. So I will have to make sure that we put things away that we don't want destroyed with slober. Leah was pretty good not getting into places she wasn't supposed to but I have a feeling he is going to be different. Mainly because he's a boy and more active and curious.
He still has two teeth on the bottom but still drools like crazy. He's our "human water fountain" and if he doesn't have a bib on, his shirt gets soaked within the hour. Logan and I have wondered if this is a normal thing. But it probably is normal, and part of his drooling problem is because he NEVER closes his mouth. You've seen the pictures.
He is also very vocal and wants to be in the middle of whatever is going on. He is famous jabbering away in his crib when he wakes up or when I've put him down for a nap but doesn't want to go to sleep. And another thing that he's a fan of is swimming at the pool or in the bath tub. When he gets in water, he can't stop moving. He reminds me of my nephew Dallin because he is such a fish and has to be dragged out of the pool. I think Cameron will be the same way when he gets older. He loves splashing, and I just put him on his belly in the tub and he looks like he is swimming.
Here's a link to a funny video of Cameron "talking" to me. He loves to make noise. For some reason I couldn't get the video to embed in this post. But check it out!
