Father's Day

I'm just a little behind with some posts so bare with me. But better late then later, right? Here is Father's Day morning when I made everyone banana muffins. Logan usually makes these for us, and they are one of our favorites. I let Logan sleep in a little longer, and then we woke him up for breakfast and opening his present.

The Saturday before Father's Day we invited Logan's brother Braden, his wife Haley and daughter Sophia over for homemade pizza and an eclair cake for dessert. I was a little stressed getting the pizzas made on time because our oven heat element broke on Friday. We had to wait until until 5 p.m. on Saturday for it to get fixed. But the wait was well worth it. Logan loved all the food I made him even though the eclair cake turned out a little too runny (I put way to much milk in the recipe). After we got our kids to bed, we got to stay up and hang out with Braden, Haley, and little Sophia which was my favorite part of the night.

I'm so lucky to have a wonderful husband and father for my kids. He always plays with them and puts them to bed when he gets home from work even if he's tired from a long day. He works so hard to support us so that I can stay home with my kids. And I'm so grateful for that.
