Spending time with family

I have to play catch up on my blog since I have pictures from the last two weeks that I haven't posted. The first ones were taken when my oldest brother Danny, his wife Chalise and their family were in town for her sister's wedding. I drove out to Salem, UT (on May 12th) for the reception by myself and the kids because Logan had to work that night.

It was so much fun seeing their family and letting Leah play outside with them. She especially liked playing on the bridge over Salem Lake. The last time Danny and his family were in Utah was just after Thanksgiving and after Cameron was born, and they stopped by our house to hang out. I can't believe how fast their kids have grown up.

The following week (on May 19th) my mother-in-law Carolyn came down to spend the afternoon with me and the kids. Her birthday was the next day so Leah and I decorated a picture frame to put on her fridge. I used the same photo of Leah and Cameron that's on the side bar labeled May 2009.

During the afternoon we went to the BYU Museum of Art and saw an exhibit by Walter Wick about Games, Gizmos and Toys in the Attic. After that we went to the little botany pond on the sound end of campus where you can watch and feed the ducks. Leah loves making trips there especially to see the baby ducks. I brought some old bread to throw to the ducks, and Leah kept wanting to eat the bread while she was feeding the ducks.

Carolyn treated us to some Tomasso's Italian Ice at the outdoor Riverwoods shopping area. Hmm, it was so tasty. We were both sharing with Leah, but she kept taking my cup and saying "This is mine, mommy. Don't take it." I was quick to remind her that I was sharing with her. Anyway, we had a fun afternoon.

I can't believe how tall Elana's getting-- so cool to see pictures of their family.
