Logan took the day off on Friday so we planned an all-day outing which started with the Hogle Zoo. We met Logan's dad and his sister Jenna there. And as soon as Grandpa arrived, she only wanted to look at the animals with him and didn't pay much attention to mom or dad after that.
The zoo was full of school children with their teachers, parents with their kids, and kids with other kids. So we had to take turns seeing the animals. Leah was such a trooper and walked for a lot of the zoo because we put Logan's dad's cooler full of food on our double stroller. She didn't mind having to walk because it allowed her to have the freedom to see the animals, but it made her pretty tired. We left just before noon and headed to Logan's dad's house for lunch, naps for the kids and an afternoon of swimming. (another post of swimming pics to come)
Here she is watching a turtle eat his breakfast in the exhibit called "Madagascar".
Here's the "big giraffe" that Leah kept pointing at and showing everyone. "Look at that big giraffe," she kept saying.
